IUI Treatment in Northern Virginia

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) places prepared sperm into the uterus around ovulation. At Anna Health, your fertility team first reviews your evaluation and goals to decide whether IUI fits your treatment plan.

What to expect

Your plan is timed around ovulation. It can include medication and monitoring, followed by sperm preparation and the insemination procedure. Your clinician explains the schedule and follow-up for your cycle.

Common questions
Is IUI right for me?

That depends on your evaluation, age, diagnosis, treatment history, and goals. Your clinician reviews these factors with you before recommending IUI or another option.

How much does IUI cost?

IUI is $750 plus monitoring, with financing available. We review the full cost before you start.

How many cycles will I need?

The number differs by age, diagnosis, response, and prior treatment. Your clinician reviews each cycle and discusses when to repeat IUI or consider another option.

Does it hurt?

The procedure is usually brief. Some patients have mild cramping or spotting. Your clinician explains what to expect and when to call.
